Daniel Richter is a Canadian Christian pop artist and worship leader whose journey in music has been one of transformation and purpose.

Formerly the frontman of Eleven Past One—a pop-rock band known for their gold-certified hit “The World Is Ours” and a deal with Warner Music Canada—Daniel experienced national success and major media exposure. But after years in the mainstream spotlight, he chose to surrender his career path to God, embracing a new direction grounded in faith.

Now based in Toronto, Ontario, Daniel serves as a worship leader and music director at his local church. His music blends pop, worship, and indie influences with powerful lyrics centered around faith, hope, and Jesus.

His latest single, “Light That Shines,” has seen remarkable success at Christian radio in Canada since its release in May 2025. The song was added by over 25 stations nationwide—including major networks like UCB, Shine FM, and JOY Radio. It sat in the Top 5 on the CCRC’s CANCON chart for four consecutive weeks, reaching as high as the #2 position, and peaked at #32 overall in airplay. This strong radio campaign included station interviews, liners, and social media support, establishing Daniel as a notable new voice in the Christian music space.

Inspired by artists like Phil Wickham and Brandon Lake, Daniel’s upcoming EP continues his mission to create music that uplifts and inspires—reflecting a heart committed to Christ and a desire to serve others through song.

Whether leading worship or sharing his personal testimony through music, Daniel is passionate about drawing people closer to God and encouraging listeners of all ages to live with purpose and faith.
